EDTC 6332 Practicum Educational Technology
Guided observation and practice in the applications of technology to a specified educational setting are emphasized. Prerequisites: Must be within six hours of completion of the program; approval of graduate advisor. Lec. 3, Cr. 3
Practicum Project:
This practicum project involves the development of a self-paced, scenario-based e-learning module aimed at mitigating burnout among ER nurses at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. The training module is was using Articulate Storyline under the supervision of a subject matter expert – an ER nurse, nurse practitioner graduate student, and President of the Education Committee at Lovelace. The module incorporates interactive, research-backed strategies tailored to the unique stressors of the ER setting, providing nurses with practical, actionable stress management techniques.
